Fingerprints and video surveillance helped police accuse a Sullivan County woman of breaking into a house and stealing from the home almost a year ago.

State Police at Liberty arrested 36-year-old Danielle Fuger, of Woodridge after an investigation into a burglary that occurred on September 13, 2015.

In September, a homeowner in the Town of Thompson told police that someone broke into their home and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

Police say they developed Fuger as the suspected after her fingerprints were found at the scene, and video surveillance was captured of her on the property.

Fuger was charged with 2nd-degree burglary, a felony. She was arraigned in the Town of Thompson Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail with bail set at $50,000 cash.

State Police investigators at Liberty were assisted by the Troop F Forensic Identification Unit, Troop F Computer Crimes Unit and the Town of Fallsburg Police Department.
