An Orange County man was arrested for allegedly raping a young teenage girl.

On Thursday, State Police in Middletown arrested a 47-year-old Orange County man on charges of second-degree rape and second-degree criminal sexual act.

He was charged following an investigation into a complaint that Wilson had a sexual relationship with a female younger than 14 years of age, police say.

According to authorities, the female was not related to him.

He was arraigned in City of Middletown Court. He posted $5,000 bail and was released, pending an appearance in Town of Wallkill Court on Dec. 7.

The charges were subsequently dismissed and the court record sealed, according to documentation presented to Hudson Valley Post.
