If you thought last weekend's springtime snow was a fluke, think again. The National Weather Service says we may be in for even more snow this weekend.

After an especially mild winter, most Hudson Valley residents greeted last weekend's late snow with a good sense of humor. But with even more winter weather expected this weekend the novelty may soon be wearing off. Many local soccer and baseball teams have already cancelled practices and games because of the unseasonably cold and wintry weather.

Snow is expected for some areas of the Hudson Valley this Saturday into Sunday morning. According to the National Weather Service, White Plains could see up to three inches of accumulations. Further north, in Putnam County, snow totals are being predicted for around an inch.

In Orange, Dutchess and Ulster less than an inch of snow is expected for right now, with a mix of rain most likely for Saturday. Low temperatures throughout the Hudson Valley will remain in the 20s throughout the weekend, with highs only reaching the upper 40s.

What do you think about this unusual spring weather pattern? Would you rather have had a normal winter or does it not bother you since we had such little snow all season?
