Man Used Stolen Credit Card To Make $1,100 Purchase From Local Lowe’s

For the second time in weeks, a man is accused of using a stolen credit card to purchase items from two local Lowe’s. It’s alleged he’s committed similar schemes across the east-coast.

On April 5, 2017, the Ulster Police Department was told by Lowe’s loss prevention that a stolen credit card was used to purchase around $1,100 in online purchases.

Following a nearly six-week investigation, 42-year-old Henry W. Concepcion-Ramos of Bronx is accused of making the illegal transactions.

The investigation also determined that Concepcion-Ramos conducted similar schemes across the east-coast, police say. He was arrested in early May for committing a similar scheme at an Orange County Lowe's.

Concepcion-Ramos was charged with two-counts of forgery and grand larceny, felonies. He was arraigned in Town of Ulster Court and remanded back to the custody of the Orange County Jail on $50,000 cash bail $100,000 bond to reappear at a later date to answer the charges.
