Lucy Lynch January 19,1930 – December 26,2016 Lucy Lynch, a lifelong resident of Newburgh, NY, passed away on December 26,2016 at Wingate at Beacon Nursing Home, at the age of 86. She was the daughter of the late Margaret and William Connelly and wife of the late Bill Lynch. Lucy was a stay at home wife and mother who prided herself on taking care of her family. She was always there to lend an ear if you needed someone to talk to. She is survived by three children; Peggy Lare and her husband Bob of Newburgh, Bill Lynch and his companion Ying Guarini of Long Island and John Lynch. She also leaves behind her grandchildren; Kim Lare Stagg and her husband Peter, Robin Lare, Paul Lynch and his wife Kara, Michelle Russell and her husband Tom and Lauren Lynch and great-grand-children; Cameron Lynch, Amanda Stagg, Evan Lynch, Carter Lynch and a new great-grandson to be born in April and nieces and nephews; Barbara Orsino, Walter Connelly, Vicki McDonald andErnest Connelly. Lucy was pre-deceased by her sister Alice and brothers Walter and John Connelly. Her family will receive friends at Doulin Newburgh Funeral Home Inc. 318 N. Montgomery St. Newburgh, NY 12550 on Tuesday, January 3,2017from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm a Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Patrick’s Church on Grand St. in Newburgh at 1:30 pm. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Donations in Lucy’s memory may be made to St. Patrick’s Soup Kitchen, Newburgh, NY or to the ASPCA Animal Rescue.
