Lauraine A. Hollenbeck, A New Windsor Resident, Dies at 75

Lauraine A. Hollenbeck, of New Windsor, entered into rest on Tuesday, January 3, 2017. She was 75. Daughter of the late Harold and Laura Baird, she was born October 16, 1941 in Newburgh. Lauraine was a 1959 graduate of NFA and was married to Lawrence Hollenbeck, who survives her.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Raymond Montanya Jr. and wife Angela of Walden, Darleen VanVoorhis and husband Rodney of Bloomingburg, Ronald Montanya and wife Cindy of Wallkill, and Cheryl Taylor and husband Robert of New Windsor; her siblings, Constance Perez and husband Joe of New Windsor and John “Jack” Baird and wife Georgia of Newburgh; grandchildren, Paul, Keith, Tara, Raymond III, Ross, Eric, Randy, Hunter, Jacob and Sarah; great-grandchildren, Haven, Mia, Nazire, Mason, Avery and Savannah; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Thursday, January 5 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A service will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 6 at the funeral home, with burial following in Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor.
