J. Larry Sullivan, a Long-time New Windsor Resident, Dies at 60
J. Larry Sullivan, a long-time resident of New Windsor and a retired Electrician, entered into rest on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at home. He was 60.
The son of the late Elmer and Anne (Bresnan) Sullivan, Larry was born December 11, 1956 in in New York City. He married his beloved Stephanie (Winter) Sullivan on July 6, 2013 in Coldenham. Stephanie survives at home. Larry was a graduate of Cardinal Hayes High School, Bronx, NY, a member of Grace Community Church, Washingtonville, Local 32BJ and Friends of Bill W.
The other day God called and Larry answered so he is now at home with Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Larry was at his happiest when helping others. His absence leaves a hole in many lives so we ask that you fill the emptiness with your memories of Lar's Sparkling Eyes, Infectious Laugh and Genuine Love of Life. Safely Home, Beautiful Boy!
In addition to his wife, Stephanie, Larry is survived by his beloved four legged "kids", BooBoo, Tessa, Tigger, Jinglebells and Shamrock; a sister, Linda Wagner and husband, Edward; brother-in-law, Owen Winter; "brother", Mikie Charest; mother-in-law, Eleanor Winter; nephew, Chris Wagner; many cousins including Helen Purdy; extended relatives; special friend, Margie, and numerous friends who were just as family.
A Celebration of Larry's Life will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 1 at Grace Community Church, 2839 NY-94, Washingtonville, NY, Pastor Jarrod Jones officiating.
