Upstate, NY Drive-In Host Horror Night Immersive Experience

The Malta Drive-In Theater in Saratoga County is hosting a spooky evening perfect for an Augtober celebration.

Night of Evil: Haunted Night at The Malta Drive-In Theater is slated to scare movie goers on Saturday August 22nd, 2026. This an immersive experience that ties together terrifying movies and live scare actors.

According to the events page on social media, The Malta Drive-In writes:

 Get ready for the horror to jump out of the big screen and right up to the windows of your car during “Night of Evil: Haunted Night at the Malta Drive-In Theatre”

The double-feature includes the new horror release "Insidious: Out of the Further" and Eli Roth's "Ice Cream Man."

While the movies play, live scare actors from Booo365 will be on the walking the grounds "with malevolent demons, a sinister ice cream man and his evil clown friends."

Hudson Valley Haunted Attractions Tease Spooky Season 2026

After you get your first taste of spooky season at the Malta Drive-in, you wont have to wait long to get your scare on in the Hudson Valley.

Many of the local haunted attractions have announced their themes for the 2026 season and have shared little sneak peeks on social media.

Pure Terror Scream Park in Monroe will open on Saturday, September 18th and they have 10 walk through experiences included some new additions like Frank N Brew mixology bar.

The Headless Horseman Hayrides and Haunted Houses in Ulster Park will welcome guests on Saturday, September 26th and it looks like things will be as terrifying as ever. Take a look:
