Holy 'Donnoli!' Donut, Cannoli Mashup Rolls into Beacon, NY

In 2022 a new business rolled on to Main Street in Beacon bringing a sweet new treat for the community with it.

Big Vinny's Pizza and Donnoli's opened up in Beacon and while they served up delicious pizza and Italian food, they also introduced Dutchess County to the Donnoli. At the time of opening with spoke to Vincenzo Vaccaro, aka Big Vinny. who told us all about the history of his cannoli creation.

The Donnoli is a long donut, filled with cannoli cream and topped with different dessert toppings. Take a look at some of the original Donnoli's we saw when we first visited Big Vinny's during their opening:

Is Big Vinny's Closed in Beacon, New York?

While driving in Beacon recently, I passed by Big Vinny's Pizza & Donnoli's at their 207 Main Street location. I noticed that it looked like the shop was closed up or under renovation.

We reached out to Vaccaro who filled us in and told us "I sold my store."

He's currently looking for a new location.

Fingers crossed that he returns to Main Street in Beacon.
