Happy National Beer Day!

There's a National day for everything it seems and while I wont celebrate all of them today is the exception.

In the past few years the Hudson Valley has become a hub for craft beer and breweries. Earlier this month we hosted our annual Hudson River Craft Beer Festival in Beacon and by the amount of people that showed up I would say the Hudson Valley is full of beer drinkers.

Timeout New York created a list of some of the best breweries in New York and several Hudson Valley breweries made the cut.

If you're still looking to drink in Beacon after the HRCBF, head on over to Hudson Valley Brewery in Beacon. Timeout suggest you try their Ultrasphere, an IPA with a raspberry-Vanilla base.

You can hop on the next train leaving the Beacon train station and head down to Peekskill to visit the ever-popular Peekskill Brewery. The four story brewery gives you more that 10 wacky named beers to choose from.

We can't talk Hudson Valley breweries and not mention Mill House Brewing Company. Mill House is located in the heart of Poughkeepsie and serves up some delicious brews along with some amazing food. Don't miss out on any of their pizza and the dessert is to die for.

Did your favorite Hudson Valley brewery make the list?
