George A. Borromeo, a Glenham Resident, Dies at 44

George A. Borromeo, 44, of Glenham, NY passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. Born on June 6, 1972 in Sharon, CT, he was the son of Anthony V. Borromeo, Sr. and Marjorie Pezze. George was a graduate of the Canajoharie School District. On June 28, 2003 he married Karen M. VanTassell at the Rogers Point Boating Association and she survives him at home. George had worked for Hannaford as a meat wrapper in Wappingers Falls and then at Stop & Shop in Wappingers Falls, NY. In addition to his wife Karen, George is survived by his two sons, A-Jay Borromeo and Anthony Borromeo, both at home and his daughter Alexandria Borromeo of Ilion, NY. He is also survived by his sisters, Toni Marie Borromeo and Elaine, MaryJo and Connie. There are no calling hours. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 from 2:00 - 5:00pm at the Glenham Firehouse in Glenham, NY and burial is private and at the convenience of the Family.
