Fresh From The Farm Dinner To Be Held At Bannerman Island

I was raised in the county, on as much farm fresh food as possible.  I think the only exception was that we didn't actually live on a farm.  We would either pick the fruit off of our fruit trees, vegetables from our garden, apples from the apple orchard down the road or we would visit a family farm nearby that we knew the family for our meats, eggs, etc.

I miss those days.

If you are like me and miss those days of fresh, farm food or want to experience it for the first time, you need to check out Bannerman Island on Saturday, September 7th.

Bannerman Island will be holding a Farm Fresh Dinner from 3pm to 7:30pm on September 7th.

This 5 course meal, prepared by 5 local chefs and created by Hudson Valley chef Noah Sheetz will be served on the island and benefit the preservation efforts of the island.

Your ticket includes a 30 minute cruise, tour, dinner, live music and boat ride back to Beacon.
