While we've all heard of food drives, how many of us can say that we've heard of an art supply drive? Bethel Woods Center for the Arts thinks that both are equally important to the well being of a person and I couldn't agree more.

The 6th Annual Bethel Woods Food and Art Supply Drive will begin Monday, January 15 and will run through February 12 and will benefit the Sullivan County Federation of the Homeless. The food will nourish their bodies and the art supplies will nourish the souls of children and adults alike.

You can drop off non-perishable food items and/or art supplies at several locations throughout the county including the CVI Building in Ferndale, Kristt Company in Monticello, Peck’s Markets in Callicoon, Livingston Manor, Jeffersonville and Eldred, and Jeff Bank locations in White Lake and Liberty.

In addition to food donations, personal care items are needed such as toothbrushes, deodorant, shampoo, soap, etc. The art supplies don't have to be the fanciest in the store, coloring books, markers, sketch pads, pens, and pencils would be great.
