Dr. Edward Frank Rossi, Jr., a Warwick Resident, Dies at 56
Dr. Edward Frank Rossi, Jr., 56, of Warwick, NY, died Saturday, May 6, 2017 of heart failure.
Dr. Rossi, a dedicated pediatrician known to his patients and colleagues as a caring and compassionate physician, was voted one of the “Best Doctors in America” for the past 10 years. He was Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and was a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Ed, as his patients called him, trained at NYU Medical Center and after his training was appointed Chief Resident. He practiced over 10 years in Manhattan before opening his practice in Warwick where he was a resident for over 15 years.
He is survived by his partner of 29 years, Robert Coleman, and his beloved dogs, Jordy and Max.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 10th, from 3:00-7:00 pm at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 17 Oakland Avenue, Warwick. Private cremation.
