It's never too early to start thinking about summer and how your kids will spend their time.

Why not send them to a camp with a Hudson Valley athlete who is making a name for himself in the NBA?

Dutchess County native, Tyler Lydon will be hosting his annual Dream Big Basketball Camp. Lydon played basketball in Pine Plains and then made his way to the Carrier Dome at Syracuse University. In 2017 Lydon started his first year in the NBA playing for the Denver Nuggets.

Lydon is bringing his NBA skills to the Hudson Valley this summer with the Dream Big Basketball Camp held at Stissing Mountain high school/middle school. The camp is opened to boys and girls ages 8 to 15. Registration is now open at lmcathletics.com.

There will be two sessions available for ballers in the Hudson Valley. The first session runs July 29th through August 1st and then August 5th through the 8th. Both groups of sessions will run from 9am to 3pm.

The camp will be run by Lydon and a group of trainers and coaches. The LMC Athletic's websites says they want to "want to share our personal experiences as basketball players at the high school, collegiate and professional levels. We will provide a positive and encouraging environment for all athletes who come to our training sessions or events."

There will be another session held July 23rd through the 26th in Syracuse.
