Clintons Send Over 400 Pizzas to New York Hospitals
Bill and Hillary Clinton sent over 400 pizzas to hospital workers in the Lower Hudson Valley dealing with the coronavirus pandemic.
Workers at several hospitals, including White Plains Hospital, St. John's Riverside Hospital in Dobbs Ferry, Blythedale Children's Hospital in Valhalla and St. Joseph's Medical Center in Yonkers, got very big surprise this week, pizza from the former President and Secretary of State.
"Thanks for the surprise pizza delivery, Hillary Clinton & President Bill Clinton! What an awesome treat for our caregivers and much-needed support of a local business," Blythedale Children's Hospital wrote on Facebook.
The Clintons, who live in Chappaqua, were thanking the medical staff for protecting their communities. The pizza came with notes, most that read "Thank you for protecting our communities. From Bill and Hillary Clinton," CNN reports.
Westchester has been hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. There are 5,944 confirmed coronavirus cases in Westchester County, according to Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
