Charles A. Maltese, a Montgomery Resident, Dies at 70

Charles A. Maltese, of Montgomery, NY, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 25, 2017. He was 70 years old. The son of the late Charles and Madeline (Michaels) Maltese, he was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 2, 1946. He married Kathryn Libertino in June of 1974.

Charles and Kathryn have been residents of Montgomery for the last 25 years. He was a driver for DHL in Newburgh. He will be greatly missed.

In addition to his loving wife of 42 years, Kathryn at home; he is survived by his brother, Andrew Steffens of Holbrook, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 pm on Friday January 27 and 2 to 6 pm on Saturday, January 28 at Brooks Funeral Home 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, with a funeral service at 5:30 pm on Saturday.
