Woman With Revoked License Charged With DWI After Foot Pursuit, Police Say

A woman with a revoked license, expired inspection, who was intoxicated attempted to flee on foot during traffic stop. 

At 9:55 am Tuesday morning a woman was observed driving at a high rate of speed with an expired inspection sticker. Troopers attempted to conduct a traffic stop.

The woman stopped her vehicle in her driveway and attempted to flee the vehicle on foot. The operator of the vehicle Jessica E. McLean, 34 of Pleasant Valley was taken into custody after a brief struggle.

Further investigation revealed that McLean was intoxicated and operating her vehicle with revoked driving privileges due to prior DWI arrests.

McLean was charged with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation, felony, Driving While Intoxicated, Resisting Arrest, and Obstructing Governmental Administration.

EMS responded to the scene and transported McLean to Mid-Hudson Medical Center for an evaluation.

McLean was issued appearance tickets returnable to court at a later date.
