Barbara Tuttle Rose, a Montgomery Resident, Dies at 81
Barbara Tuttle Rose, 81 of Montgomery, a retiree of Star Expansion and a lifelong area resident, entered into rest Friday, June 2, 2017. Daughter of the late Arthur and Clara (Slater) Tuttle, she was born June 7, 1935 in Englewood, NJ.
Barbara attended Pearl River High School, and was a member of Vails Gate Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband, James Rose of New Windsor, whom she married on May 22, 1976 in Highland Mills United Methodist Church; her brother, David Tuttle of Napanoch, NY; sister, Linda Flynn of Newburgh; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her sisters, Dolores Tuttle and Virginia Straut.
The family would like to thank the staff at Montgomery Nursing Home for their care of Barbara during the last five years; as well as Sue Martino and the staff at St. Luke’s Hospital for their care and support during this trying time.
A graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Montgomery Nursing Home, 2817 Albany Post Rd., Montgomery, NY 12549.
