Police are reminding drivers in Dutchess County about a new traffic pattern in Poughkeepsie that begins Tuesday.

The Town of Poughkeepsie Police Department is advising drivers motorists travelling on Overocker Road, between Mountainview Road and Peckham Road, of two new stop signs that will take effect on Tuesday August 9.

The new stop signs on Overocker Road are at the Dutchess County Rail Trail crossing.

Police say drivers must continue to exercise caution and yield to pedestrians crossing at the crosswalk.
