Four from outside New York State are accused of bringing drugs into the Hudson Valley.

New York State Police from Montgomery arrested 36-year-old Walter A. Griffith, 20-year-old Gianna M. Rose, both of Dingmans Ferry, PA, 36-year-old Kristin M. Strouse, of Matamoras, PA, and 34-year-old Stephen P. King of Milford, PA, for fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class C felony.

On Thursday, a car with the group was pulled over on Interstate 84 in Orange County for allegedly speeding. An investigation revealed that the vehicle, driven by Walter Griffith, contained a quantity of unlawfully possessed oxycodone pills, which were found in a common area of the car, police say.

The investigation led to all four being arrested and charged.

All four were arraigned in the Town of Montgomery Court and remanded to Orange County Jail. Griffith and King are being held on $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond. Rose and Strouse are currently being held on $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond
