Two people wanted by police and a third man were arrested after police say they found drugs, rifles and more.

On Thursday around 6 a.m., City of Newburgh Police, Town of Newburgh Police and the Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force conducted a search warrant on Third Street in the City of Newburgh.

The search warrant was a result of a several month long investigation into narcotics sales from the home, police say.

Officers allegedly found around 8.5 grams of cocaine, two rifles, several scales and miscellaneous drug paraphernalia.

Ulee Johnson, 37, of Newburgh was found inside the home and charged with third- and fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, felonies.

Carrie Williams, 37, and 28-year-old John Thompson were also found inside the home. Both had active arrest warrants out of City of Newburgh Court, police say.

Both were charged with criminal mischief. Thompson was also arrested for assault.

All three were processed and then transported to City Court for arraignment.
