Woman Arrested For Prostitution, Offers Cops Cash to Let Her Go
Bribing the officers probably isn't the smartest thing to do.
During an anti-prostitution detail in the Town of Wallkill, state police arrested Yolanda Valentine, 34, of New York, NY.
Valentine agreed to perform a sexual act with an undercover trooper in exchange for $160.00.
When Valentine was placed under arrest, she offered to pay the arresting officers $2200.00 in cash in exchange for releasing her without charges.
During the arrest process, it was discovered that Valentine was also wanted by the Nassau County Probation department on a warrant.
Valentine was charged with one count each of Bribery in the third-degree and Prostitution.
She was arraigned in the Town of Wallkill Court and remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, or $20,000 secured bond pending a future court appearance.
