Why Was Jerry Seinfeld Spotted Filming in the Hudson Valley?
Jerry Seinfeld was spotted filming in the Hudson Valley. How come?
The star of the mega-hit T.V. show Seinfeld made a return to the local area Wednesday to film a segment for his Crackle web series Comedian in Cars Getting Coffee.
The wearer of puffy shirts (minus the puffy shirt) showed up at the Wainwright House in Rye. The episode, which will air next month, will feature footage of Seinfeld near the Wainwright House, a vintage 1959 Triumph TR3, and scenes with co-star John Oliver.
Oliver will be filmed at an unannounced location later this month.
Wainwright’s events coordinator Mary de Barros told Westchester Magazine that Seinfeld “filmed himself in the car, with shots of the Wainwright House in the background, back behind the building, and by the water.”
Despite the possibility that pretzels made him thirsty, Seinfeld did make time to stop inside the Wainwright House to say hello to everyone.
This isn’t the first time Seinfeld has said “HEEEEEELLLLLLLOOOO” to the Hudson Valley. Last year Seinfeld filmed an episode for his web series with Steve Martin at the Pleasantville Diner. Prior to that he enjoyed coffee at the Landmark Diner in Ossining with Robert Klein.
When and where in the Hudson Valley will Seinfeld, the man that never re-gifts, pop up next? For that you must “look to the cookie!”
