Tornado Warning Issued For Dutchess County

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado warning for Southeastern Dutchess County and Southwestern Litchfield County in Connecticut until 7:45 tonight.
Radar has indicated a thunderstorm that is capable of producing a tornado which was located near Hopewell Junction. Rotation was seen within this storm on the radar. Half-Dollar sized hail is also a danger with this storm.
This storm is heading towards Wingdale, Pawling, and Gaylordsville.
While, at the time of this writing, no tornadoes on the ground have been reported, this is a dangerous storm. If you are in the path of this storm, take shelter now in the lowest floor of your home, avoid windows, as flying debris is a possibility with this storm system. If you are outside or in a vehicle, move to the closest shelter you can and try to protect yourself from flying debris.
Once this storm has passed, please report hail size or any downed trees to the National Weather Service.
