These Are The Safest Colleges In New York
A new report has been published that named the safest colleges in the U.S.
Alarms.org published a list of the safest colleges in America. According to the list, the safest college is Lincoln Memorial College in Tennessee. The organization took data submitted to the FBI and data that was related to the area surrounding the college campus.
Within New York State, only two colleges made the list of 'Safest Colleges in America'. The colleges are actually neighboring schools, which to be honest, makes sense if they consider the surrounding area.
The two colleges in New York State that made the list were Ithaca College and Cornell University, which is in Ithaca. Ithaca was ranked the 223rd safest college in the U.S. and Cornell University was ranked the 374 safest college in the U.S. The rankings were based on 490 colleges across the country.
The Hudson Valley is filled with colleges, both public and private. Are you surprised none of our local universities made the list?
