A Sullivan County woman landed herself in jail after she allegedly stabbed a woman in the head with a screwdriver during a domestic dispute.

on Sunday, at approximately 4:20 a.m., police responded to a report of a disturbance at a residence in the Village of Monticello.

Responding officers found a 25-year old female bleeding from a laceration to the head upon arrival.

The victim had been stabbed in the head with a screwdriver by Joyce Housman, 27, of Monticello during a domestic dispute.

Housman was arraigned in the Village of Monticello Justice Court and remanded to Sullivan County Jail in lieu of $10,000 pendeing further court action.
