Police Seek Help Identifying Poughkeepsie Transit Hub Robber

On June 6, 2019, at 6:11 pm City of Poughkeepsie Officers responded to the area of the Transit Hub on Civic Center Plaza for a reported strong-arm robbery. The victim reported that a male had followed her into the Transit Hub and then ripped her purse containing $700 from her shoulder and then he fled east towards Garden Street. Images of the suspect were captured on video.

Up to this point, the attempts by the police to identify the suspect have proven unsuccessful. According to Detective Lieutenant Matt Clark, the police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying him.
