A big part of the community is set to close on January 25th.

Peters Market has been a local, family owned supermarket that according to their website was set to enter their 44th year in business, but according to a sign that is in front of Peters Market on Route 209 in Napanoch, the smaller grocery store will be closing its doors on Jan 25th for reasons that are unknown at this time.

According to their website, Peters Market is a complete supermarket & natural foods store that started up back in 1971 and they said, "much has changed since 1971, but our goal remains the same: Genuine Customer Service, High Quality Products including the Freshest Meats, Produce, Deli, and Bakery. Always Good Prices and Great Values on Grocery including an extensive selection of Natural and Organic products. The Peters family & employees welcome you to a superior shopping experience."

A great shopping experience is what many reviews sited on their Facebook page, one said "Great food, great service 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 definitely go", another said, "Great grocery store! If you are into gourmet foods, organic or anything in between, they have it. The meats are top notch and such a variety of produce. Wandering through this store will make you think twice about eating out all the time and make use of your grill."

We have reached to Peters Market through social media fro a comment but have not heard back. When we do, we will update this story.
