Patricia L. Farrell, a Lifelong Hopewell Junction Resident, Dies at 76
Patricia L. Farrell, 76, a lifelong Hopewell Junction resident, died on Monday, July 31, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born on February 8, 1941 in Poughkeepsie, Patricia was the daughter of Leonard and Elsie (Papp) Lynch.
Patricia was a Librarian Clerk for 25 years with the Wappingers Central School District until her retirement in 1998. She was a member of the Home Bureau, 4H Club and a 45 year member of the Porsche Club of America. She also loved sports car racing, skiing, sailing, swimming, gardening, animals and arts & crafts.
On April 8, 1960 in Pleasant Valley, Patricia married the love of her life, Bob Farrell, who survives at home. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Deborah Tamas of Newburgh, and Michael Farrell and his wife Cynthia of Clermont; her grandchildren, Amanda and David Tamas, Danielle and Darren Farrell; and her brother, Arthur A. Lynch of Camp Verde, AZ. In addition to her parents, Patricia was predeceased by her brother, Robert Lynch; and her son-in-law, David Tamas.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will be at 10am on Friday at the Funeral Home followed by interment in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
