A 16-year old form Ulster County is facing felony charges after he was allegedly caught with a .22 caliber firearm in a park. 

At approximately 1 a.m. Wednesday Lloyd Police arrested a 16-year old Rosendale teenager.

Police found the teen trespassing in Highland Landing Park after the park was closed.

The teen was found to be in possession of a .22 caliber firearm (pen gun).

The teenager was charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the third degree (felony), Trespassing, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

He was arraigned in the Town of Lloyd Court and remanded to Ulster County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail, or $25,000 insurance bond.

He is due back in court at a later date.
