Orange County Man Found With 1,110 Envelopes of Heroin, More, Police Say
An Orange County man is accused of possessing 1,110 glassine envelopes of heroin and more.
On Thursday around 6 a.m., City of Newburgh police conducted a search warrant at a home on Galloway Avenue in the City of Newburgh. The search was a result of an investigation into drug sales in the area by 30-year-old Naquan Gayle of the City of Newburgh, police say.
As a result of the search warrant, officials allegedly found 1,110 glassine envelopes which contained heroin, 2.1 grams of marijuana, and $2,491.
Gayale was charged with two-counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.
Gayle was transported to City of Newburgh Court for arraignment.
