One Of The Best Wine Hotels In The World Is In Upstate NY

A hotel in New York was named one of the best wine hotels in the world, and it's easy to see why.

House Beautiful published an article talking about one of the world's best wine hotels. It just happens to be in upstate New York (thankfully). The Bellhurst Castle is in Geneva, which is in Seneca County. The Castle is part of the Finger Lakes wine region.

According to House Beautiful, Bellhurst Castle was named one of the world's best wine hotels by Wine Enthusiast. If it's a winery in the Finger Lakes region, it's pretty much guaranteed to be good. If you're not a wine drinker, but still love the views of the Finger Lakes, don't worry. A brewery has just been added to the Bellhurst Castle property.

House Beautiful says that the castle was built in the 1880s. The story behind it is that 50 men built the castle for an heiress and her golden pheasants. There are 14 different accommodations to stay in: 11 guest rooms, two cottages, and one ranch style home.
