‘No-Knock’ Search Warrant Leads to Felony Charges for Sullivan County Man
A Sullivan County man is behind bars without bail after police allegedly found heroin, cocaine, a loaded gun and more during a “No-Knock” search warrant.
On Saturday, Monticello police arrested 29-year-old Dellon R. Dillon of Monticello on charges of second-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, two-counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, criminal possession of a firearm, all felonies, and a misdemeanor charge criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
Around 7 a.m. on Saturday, Monticello police in conjunction with the Sullivan County District Attorney Office executed a “No-Knock” search warrant at an apartment at the Monticello Housing Authority Complex at Evergreen Drive in the Village of Monticello.
Dillon was found with 33.6 grams of ecstasy pills, 28 glassine envelopes of heroin, 3.6 grams of crack cocaine, various packaging materials, scales and a loaded .40 caliber High Point semi-automatic handgun, police say.
Dillon was remanded to the Sullivan County Jail without bail pending further court action.
