Lumberjack Competitions And Line Dancing Coming To Hudson Valley Event
Calling all lumberjacks, this is your time to shine! There’s going to be lumberjack competitions along with line dancing at an upcoming Sullivan County, NY event.
Welcome To Narrowsburg made a post on social media inviting guests to join this experience. In their post they included information about Narrowsburg Logging Days. This event will take place on Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 11am until 5pm on the riverfront. Last year, they had over 3,000 people who attended Narrowsburg Logging Days.
This event celebrates the rich heritage and history of the Narrowsburg, NY area. It was once known as being a logging town.

What Can Festival Attendees Expect At This Sullivan County, NY?
Those who plan on attending Narrowsburg's Logging Days Event can attend for free. I’m excited to see the New York State Lumberjack Association because there’s going to be a lumberjack contest. Overall, there’s going to be 12 competitive events during this event.
In addition to this contest, there will also be a beard and mustache contest and baking competition too. Attendees can also shop from local vendors, experience performances from musicians and more. Some local vendors include Catskill Woodworks, Sun Spark Creations and more.
I’m also looking forward to the line dancing opportunity in addition to the games on site at Narrowsburg Logging Days.
Some food options will be provided by Nikki C’s Seafood, Neapolitan Pizza by the Blue Fox and more. Drink options on site will feature Catskill Brewery, Cooper's Daughter Spirits and more.
What Can Guests Do In The Narrowburg, NY Area?
Sullivan County, NY has beautiful views. I love all of the lush green trees, smell and views of farmlands. In addition to attending this event in Narrowsburg, NY, be sure to visit more places. Scenic drives through this area are always a great idea.
Bethel Woods Center for the Arts is nearby. This is the site of the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival that offers concerts, events and more throughout the year.
I recommend the Sullivan Catskills Dove Trail, it's one of my favorite experiences in the area. There’s also walking trails, parks and museums.
