Vegans do not eat anything that has a meat item or by-product of an animal item. For instance, they do not use butter because that comes from a cow. They don't use honey as a sweetener because that comes from a bee, but they will use sugar, agave, and maple syrup to sweeten things. Also, no eggs, no cheese, no dairy.

The easiest way for me to remember it is if it had a face at one time, vegans would not eat it.

Believe it or not, with the exception of the turkey, you have a few options, but it comes down to how the items are prepared. For instance, you can make rice-based stuffing, just make sure to not put any meat in it, or use any chicken or beef stock. You can use vegetable stock or mushroom stock, that will work for your vegan.

You can also roast vegetables, carrots, celery, potato's even butternut squash. When you go to roast them, don't use butter. You can use plant-based kinds of margarine or even olive oil and salt and pepper to roast those items in the oven. Just don't get turkey drippings on any of it.

Tofurky is an option as well. There are also other items you can have on hand that you might not know are vegan, keep reading to check those items out. You might already have them on hand.
