Watch as New York Wedding Guests are Rescued From Stuck Bus
Numerous wedding guests had to be rescued by a Hudson Valley fire department after the bus they were riding on went off the road and it was all caught on video.
October has become one of the most popular months of the year for couples to exchange vows and get married in the Hudson Valley. It comes as no surprise to anyone who's lived in the area for a while that this time of year is one of the most beautiful times to say I do! Not only is the weather great but the fall backdrop is amazing and makes for great pictures.

We've come up with 15+ of the Hudson Valley's best venues down below but before you scroll down, let us share with you one of the most unexpected things to happen at a Hudson Valley wedding in quite some time.
Wedding Guests Rescued From Stuck Bus in Brewster, New York
After celebrating for hours at a popular Hudson Valley wedding venue 14 guests had no idea that the ride back to the hotel would be even more "eventful" than the wedding they just celebrated. It was just after midnight over the weekend when the Brewster Fire Department (BFD) was dispatched to a call of a tour bus that was stuck on the side of a road near the Ryder Farm wedding venue at 406 Starr Ridge Rd, Brewster, NY.
According to a post on the department's Facebook page, they were dispatched to Starr Ridge Road in the area of Ryder Farm for a tour bus that got stuck in the mud and was leaning to one side. As the BFD arrived on the scene they jumped into action to stabilize the bus that had become stuck in mud after the driver attempted to back out of the farm’s driveway.
Apparently, the driver veered too far to the side, and as he did the bus got stuck in the mud. The way the bus sank prevented the driver from being able to open the bus door for guests to get out because it was leaning against a large rock.

As you can see above, BFD's firefighters quickly stabilized one side of the bus with a winch and set up stabilizing jacks on the opposite side that was leaning. Once the bus was stabilized and in no danger of tipping over, firefighters put a small ladder up to the bus rescue window and safely removed the 14 passengers and the bus driver. (You can see the full rescue below)
Thankfully there were no injuries, and took BFD about an hour to get everyone off the bus.
