Have you been waiting to get out in the better weather and hoping to celebrate with friends somewhere different and interesting? Some of the best seasonal places in the Hudson Valley have officially reopened.

The other thing that has happened over the past few weeks is many Hudson Bars restaurants and bars have opened their outdoor seating. It is time to head back out to the patio for lunch, dinner, or even just a cocktail at some of your favorite places to go during the winter when you sit inside.

Two Bars One Historic Spot Make a Great Cocktail Stop in Orange County NY

One of my favorite two-season places is kind of a well-kept secret. Patton's Tavern at the Hotel Thayer at West Point overlooks the Hudson River and is super fun to go to for food and drinks. In the warmer months, it can still be a great place to go but you may want to venture to the seasonal favorite that sits just above Patton's, Zulu Time.

Zulu Time Rooftop Bar & Lounge is reopened for 2024 and is already filling up the calendar with tasting nights, DJ dance parties, and their signature "Tini Thursdays". This place gives you a rooftop bar and a view of the Hudson River.

Cocktails with a View in New Paltz, New York

Speaking of views watching the sun go down over the Gunks with the iconic Mohonk Tower in the distance can make for a great cocktail view. That is the site you can get by visiting the Parish Restaurant in New Paltz for drinks and dinner.

If you are looking for a drink that is right on the water then you have to trek to Ole Savannah Southern Table and Bar. They have put the ice rink away for the summer and are ready for you to sit dockside on the Rondout.
