I'm not a parent yet, but I have a lot of friends who have become new parents in the past few years.

Once their bundle of joy makes their debut, I always offer to help any way I can. Whether it be bringing a meal over or just going over to be an extra pair of hands, whatever I can do to help because I know it's a crazy transition.

I saw story on Twitter this weekend and I laughed out loud at just how ridiculous it was. Then the story went viral.

A couple, who is expecting their first child on April 29th is asking for some help from their neighbors.

According to Yahoo.com a couple, who go by Jim and Alex, started a fundraising page on Meal Train. Jim explains in the post "One of the things I'm most afraid of [ when becoming a new parent] is not getting a great deal of sleep and as a result not being in the best frame of mind to offer my wife the support she needs to recover from the child birthing process."

The couple is starting a "'Meal-Train' or 'Mental-health check-in train' or 'Do you need any help today train."

However, they way they word it makes it seem like they are expecting this from their neighbors. They go as far as to tell their neighbors to make them "paleo" meals and that if they don't want to talk that they'll leave a white cooler outside of their home for meals to put food in.

They also asked for their neighbors to take care of things around the house for them like walk their dog, do their dishes or vacuum their house.

Like I said, I'm not parent, but how many parents had to go through those sleepless nights? It's all part of the experience if you ask me.

Quite frankly this just adds fuel to the unfortunate millennial flame.
