If you have kids this looks like something they would love.

Growing up at one time or another you've spent sometime watching Sesame Street. Who doesn't love some Big Bird, Oscar the Grouch or Elmo?

Well it looks like all of our favorite muppets are taking a road trip off of Sesame Street and hitting cities across America, including New York City.

According to CBS 6, Sesame Street is getting ready to kick off a 10 city tour to celebrate the show's 50th anniversary campaign with free park festivals, live performances and kid-friendly activities.

The tour starts on June 1st in New York and then has Saturday celebrations in Washington, D.C., on June 8; Pittsburgh on June 15; Detroit on June 22; Chicago on June 29; Dallas on July 6; Kansas City on July 13; Denver on July 20; Seattle on July 27 and Los Angeles on Aug. 3.

All of our favorite Sesame Street muppets will spend Friday-Sunday in each city, filming segments for the show with local kids and highlighting people and places important to the community.

They will also offer all kinds of kids activities like a giant maze, a treasure dig, chances to have pictures taken with characters and they will have a milk and cookies snack station.

The 50th season of "Sesame Street" will officially start in November with a huge primetime special.
