Inocencia Berrios, A Newburgh Resident Dies at 90
Inocencia Berrios, age 90, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at her residence in Newburgh, NY, surrounded by family. Born in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico on July 13, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Domingo and Manola (Matos) Rivera. She is survived by her husband Juan Berrios at home.
Mrs. Berrios was a homemaker and a devout Jehovah's Witness for nearly 60 years.
In addition to her husband, survivors include one son, Jose (Maria) Rivera of Vails Gate; three daughters, Lillian (Samuel) Olivo, Carmen (Pablo) Bencosme both of Newburgh NY and Norma I. Berrios of Bronx, NY; eight grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Private cremation has taken place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Newburgh, NY.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 3:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 23 Old Little Britain Road, Newburgh, NY.
