Hudson Valley Woman Wins $1 Million Drawing

A Hudson Valley woman won $1 million at Resorts World Catskills. She says she will use some of her winnings to support autism awareness.

On Saturday, a winner was crowned at the end of the three-month “Million Winning Moments” promotion at Resorts World Catskills. At 10 p.m., five finalists where selected. Each had five minutes to report to the Sportsbook 360 stage and then the five selected winners each opened up case which revealed a prize. Two of the five finalists were from the Hudson Valley.

Four of the five cases were $10,000 winners, with one case being a $1 million winner.

Susan Cutrone of Ulster Park was the $1 million winner.

"We came up to Resorts World Catskills a lot during the promotion because we love it here. It is our favorite casino resort, but I never thought it would actually be me who won the million dollars,” Cutrone said in a press release. “Now it is really my favorite resort! I promise I am going to do good with it. Part fun and part contributing to autism awareness. I feel like I am dreaming”.

Among the four $10,000 winners was Susan Kreeger of Middletown.
