How To See The Last Lunar Eclipse Of 2019
To see the last lunar eclipse of 2019, you're going to have to work for it. And by work, I mean travel.
Space.com reports that the last lunar eclipse will be on Tuesday, July 16 and go into Wednesday, July 17. Sadly, if you're in the Hudson Valley you won't even be able to see it. All of North American will be entirely shut out from the eclipse, as it happens during the daytime with the moon below the horizon.
If you want to see the final lunar eclipse of 2019, you're going to have to travel to the Eastern Hemisphere, so Africa, Europe, and western Asia. South America will see the moon rise already in the Earth's shadow, according to Space.com. In central and eastern Asia and Australia, the eclipse will be in progress while the moon sets during the dawn hours of Wednesday, July 17.
