WAPPINGERS FALLS - Frank Giancaspro was called to be with our Heavenly Father on October 16, 2017 following a brief illness. He was born in Bari, Italy to the late Vincenzo and Giuseppina Giancaspro. Frank immigrated to Brooklyn, New York in 1956 where he met his devoted wife, Josephine, who survives at home. They shared a loving life together and celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary this past year. In 1996, they settled in Wappingers Falls to enjoy their retirement together.

He was a proud father and grandfather who instilled the love of family, humility, respect for others, and hard work in all of them. Frank leaves behind his children, Josephine, Vincent and his wife Liz, Maria and her husband Ric, and Joseph and his wife Christine. He will be forever loved and cherished by his eight grandchildren, Carla, Joanna, Marina, Francesco, Marcus, Joseph, Nicole, and Frank. He also was the beloved brother of Dora Campi, Nicoletta Squeo, Antonia Buonarota, and Nunzia Giancaspro. Frank was predeceased by his sister, Lolita Giancaspro. He is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Frank will always be remembered for his wisdom, sense of humor, Italian adages, passion for life and, most of all, his dedication to family.
