The Catskill Game Farm is getting back on its feet after closing down in 2006.

In August we shared the news that the infamous Catskill Game Farm was offering "glamping" opportunities. Visitors would have the game farm to themselves as they camp out in glamorous tents around the grounds all while having the whole game farm to yourself.

Well it looks like owners Ben and Cathy are opening up the park even more to the public. They are currently offering self guided tours of the 150 acres of land.

If you're interested in touring the grounds you must sign up ahead of time as Ben and Cathy will need to be there to open the doors and lock you in. The next self guided tour is being offered on Sunday November 5th.

While the tour is free, they do ask for donations to help maintain the land.

In other Catskill Game Farm news, construction has begun on the Long Neck Inn. Approval from the Planning Board is still pending, however with the funding the game farm has recieved they plan to turn Long Neck Inn, aka the old Giraffe House, into a an inn that will be available for weddings and other events.
