Francis J. DeMay, a Long-time Fishkill Resident, Dies at 75
Fishkill - Francis J. DeMay, a 20-year resident of Fishkill and formerly of the Bronx, died on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. He was 75.
Son of the late Susan DeMay, he was born on April 2, 1942 in the Bronx, where he remained until he was in his 50s. He was an avid lifelong New York Yankees fan, and loved attending games at Yankee Stadium.
Francis is survived by six children including his daughter, Dawn Maldonado & her husband Oswaldo (SFC, U.S. Army) of Fort Drum; his daughter, Crystal DeMay of Kingston, PA; his son, Frankie DeMay & his partner Crystal McCoy of the Bronx; his daughter, Jennifer DeMay of Kingston, PA; his son, John James DeMay of the Bronx; his daughter, Jessica Fitzgerald of the Bronx; his grandchildren, Reagan, Othello, Joseph, Virginia, Raymond James, Shawn, and Gabriel; his sister, Barbara Fermicola & her husband Michael of Hopewell Junction; his brother, John DeMay & his wife Patricia of Lagrangeville; several nieces & nephews, along with their families; and many other relatives & friends.
He was predeceased by his mother as well as his son, Mark DeMay.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 30 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
