Voting is underway for which design will be used for new stickers to be handed out at polling places across New York State.

Voters will receive the stickers to show that they participated in the election. But first, another election of sorts needs to be decided. The New York State Governor's Office is conducting a poll on their website to choose between three different designs.

All three stickers celebrate the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage movement in New York.

The winning design will be handed out on November 7 at polling places throughout New York. Whether that includes the Hudson Valley, however, is something we will have to wait to find out.

During the presidential election in 2016 the Hudson Valley was snubbed when it came to receiving the "I Voted" stickers. We spoke to the board of elections offices in several counties who all gave us varying reasons for the lack of stickers. Sullivan County officials, however, vowed that they would look into getting stickers to hand out stickers at the next election. We'll see if that happens in November.

Until then you can vote for your favorite sticker design through 5pm Friday at the Governor's website.
