CVS stopped selling a particular type of products 5 years ago, but did anyone notice? I personally didn't, but then I am not a nicotine user. CVS made the decision to no longer sell products that contain nicotine, with the exception of smoking cessation products.

This week, CVS sent out emails to their customers making them aware that it has been 5 years since they stopped selling those products and the changes that they have made in their buying to better serve their customers.

Did their strategy work? Here is a link to the entire email, with the information as to what the company has done in the last five years to help nationwide with the stop smoking initiative.

Are you a smoker who was not happy with CVS's decision to no longer sell tobacco products? Did it make you stop shopping there?
