Concetta Licciardi, a Newburgh Resident, Dies at 55

Concetta Licciardi, 55 of Newburgh, entered into rest on Sunday, December 31, 2017 at home. The daughter of Anna (Caccavari) and the late Nicola Dardano, she was born February 21, 1962. She married Salvatore Licciardi on July 9, 1989 in San Floro, Calabria, Salvatore survives at home.

She is further survived by her son, Melchiorre R. Licciardi; siblings, Francesca Dardano of Calabria, Barbara Dardano of Sicily, Guiseppe Dardano and Domenico Dardano, both of Calabria; five nephews and four nieces of Calabria, six nephews and five nieces of Newburgh; four great-nieces and one great-nephew.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Friday, January 5 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Saturday, January 6 at Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
