Brian S. Sherow, a resident of Poughkeepsie, entered into rest Saturday, October 7, 2017 in Sharon, Connecticut. He was 53.
Son of Josephine Sherow of Hyde Park and the late Thomas Sherow, he was born October 17, 1963 in Poughkeepsie.
Brian worked as a self-employed flatbed and tow truck driver and was known as a hard worker. He was generous and good hearted; always there to help and never saying no. Brian was happy-go-lucky and a jokester making everyone in his company laugh. Brian loved the outdoors and riding with his nephew, Will in his tractor-trailer, traveling all over. He was devoted to his sister Carey, especially after she passed away in 2016. He took great pride in tending to her grave. He was never the same after she died. Brian will be missed by his family but they are happy he is now with his sister.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his siblings, Sharon Sherow of Hyde Park, Thomas Sherow of Hyde Park, Charlene DuBois of Poughkeepsie, Shari Sherow of Hyde Park, Cynthia Cimorelli of Hyde Park and Suzette Hyson of Hyde Park; his son, Josh Simpson of South Dakota; granddaughters, Khaleesi and Victoria; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his brother, Todd Sherow and sister, Carey Sherow.
